Yes, I think people who are worried about “doing diversity wrong” either have too much free time on their hands, or aren’t really concerned with that issue at all, but are just unhappy that we’ve changed something that they liked the way it was.

This argument rarely, if ever, comes from someone who’s actually aware of what’s going on in the comicbook industry and how hard it is to get original IP to the same level of popularity as characters who have been around for decades. And those new & original characters DO exist, just became you aren’t paying attention doesn’t mean they aren’t relevant.
